Why dangerous is WEEE for the environment?
WEEE can contain elements that can contaminate animal, plants, nature and people. For example, mercury can be found in fluorescent tubes, electrical switches and old coffee percolators. Lead can be found in old cameras, telephones and picture tubes. PCBs can be found in washing machines, and nickel and cadmium can be found in, for example, rechargeable batteries.
